Making Museum Connections

DESCRIPTION:

We welcome current and prospective members to join us for what promises to be a rich and spirited discussion.  Please share this invitation with your colleagues if you are unable to attend.

Overview:  Hosted by the Education Department of the Museum of Modern Art, Making Museum Connections will address how arts organizations can connect to museums across the city and take advantage of education programs and services for K-12 schools.  

Participants will also receive a guided tour of the new MoMA facility, including a demonstration of how students and educators are introduced to gallery exhibitions.  In addition, a panel discussion featuring representatives of the Roundtable’s museum members from all five boroughs will provide an overview of the design and impact of their partnerships with K-12 schools, as well as successful programming initiatives conducted in collaboration with different types of arts organizations and institutions.
