New Kid on the Block III – 3 Things Your Boss Won’t Tell you

This workshop is designed to provide those new to the New York City arts education environment with nuts and bolts information about navigating the terrain. Arts education administrators and teaching artists will benefit from discussion of topics such as who's who at the DOE, building your résumé, resources, and networking information. Past New Kid On the Block workshops have been proven to be instrumental in new job leads, successful job placements, and effective orientation for newcomers. A feature of this workshop will be dos and don'ts of the field, provided by veterans in the New York City arts ed community.

There is no fee to attend this educational forum, nor do you have to sign up or RSVP.
