NYC Arts in Education Roundtable
Committees

Members are encouraged to get involved in the activities of the Roundtable by joining one or more committees. Contact the committee Co-Chairs for more information on how you can get become an active part of the Roundtable.

All committees are led by a Board member who serves as the committee Co-Chairs.

• The Conference Committee designs and administers the annual Face to Face conference. Co-Chairs: Peter Avery, David Shookhoff, Fran Van Horn, Edie Demas.

• The Membership Committee recruits new members and ensures that the Board addresses members' concerns and issues. Co-Chairs: Jannas Zalesky

• The Program Committee is responsible for the design and implementation of the organization's yearly program of General Meetings and Seminars. Chair:  Madeline Cohen

• The Publications Committee produces written materials about the Roundtable and its activities and maintains its website. Chair: Elizabeth Halverstam

• The Development Committee identifies and cultivates sources of funding for the organization and oversees the writing of grant proposals. Co-Chairs: Joanne Robinson Hill, Alice Krieger

• The Research/Advocacy Committee conducts surveys of the field and disseminates the information collected to the membership and to the public at large.
