Face
to Face 2007 Conference Summary Report
What is Face to Face?
Through a wide variety of panels, workshops, reports, and other presentations, the annual Face to Face Conference provides the opportunity for participants to learn more about arts in education. The conference offers something for everyone: arts administrators, teaching artists, school personnel, parents, and representatives of community-based organizations.
Members of the arts in education community provide the latest information
on important funding initiatives and city, state, and national policies, and
also address enduring issues such as assessment, sustainability, and professional
development.
The New York City Arts in Education Roundtable enables arts organizations providing arts education in New York City’s schools and communities to meet and share information about the field. The Roundtable also provides information about arts education to the media, government, and the general public.
Face to Face 2007 was funded in part by the Arts in Education
Program of the New
York State Council on the Arts and the New
York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
For more information,
you may contact the Roundtable Coordinator at (212) 642-5979
or via email.
