In an age when human creativity is the ultimate economic resource, we in the arts education community need to gain a better understanding of our own creative processes –what do we do, and how do we do it. Come join your colleagues in a rich conversation about creativity moderated by Michael Hanson, Director of the Masters Concentration in Creativity and Cognition at Teachers College, Columbia University.
At the first breakfast on March 28th Michael will share his own understanding of creativity, developed over the many years in which he has studied the subject.
On April 11th, Michael will moderate a panel discussion with some remarkable individuals from the arts education field about their work as artists and educators.
Finally, at the Roundtable's year-end event scheduled for June 10th, Michael will interview a number of individuals from a range of non-arts professions, such as law, science, computer technology and psychotherapy.
