NYC Arts in Education Survey The New York City Arts in Education Roundtable has released results of its annual survey of New York City's cultural institutions. The collected data indicate that, in aggregate, these organizations spent 14% of their budgets on educational programs and raised tens of millions of dollars in 2005-06 for education programs in New York City public schools. A three-year analysis of data collected via this survey shows a dramatic increase in the dollar amounts that schools are paying for programs from these cultural groups, increasing from under $7 million in 2003-04 to approximately $12 million in 2004-05 to more than $19 million in 2005-06.
