California State Standards

California content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level.

Florida State Standards

Massachusetts State Standards

Standards have been created for Massachusetts in the four core areas as well as for The Arts, Foreign Language, Comprehensive Health and the Career Clusters.  Massachusetts standards are organized in the core areas as follows:

Language Arts / Math: K, 1-2,3-4,5-6,7-8,9-10,11-12
Science: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-10, 10-12
Social Studies: K, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-11, 12

NY State Learning Standards

A general description of the New York State standards, as well as the specific requirements for each academic subject area, are found within each of the core subject area listings.

NYCDOE Arts Blueprint:

The New York City Arts Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts provides a standards-based, rigorous approach to teaching the arts. Using a sequential approach, the Blueprint begins in early childhood and follows students up through the grades to a commencement level of achievement in art, music, dance, and theatre.

New York City Performance Standards

The New York City Learning Standards in English Language Arts, mathematics, science and applied learning includes descriptions of what students should know and the ways they should demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the four areas. Samples of student work that illustrate standards are included.
